PORTRAITS FOR NHS HEROES
During the COVID 19 pandemic in 2020 an INSTAGRAM initiative was started by Oxford artist Tom Croft. The idea was for artists around the country to offer to paint a free portrait for any NHS employee nominated by a colleague, friend or family member. The take up was immediate and AMAZING!
Over 15,000 portraits have been painted, posted or presented to the recipients.
The delight of the NHS employees has been a joy to see.
These are Jean's contributions to the initiative,
